چکیده
The present research shows the results obtained from biosorption process of Pb, using coffee pulp as a biosorbent in synthetic waters. To do this, lignin and cellulose content percentage removal Pb2+ ions was determined; additionally, sorption’s optimal variables, such optimum pH, point zero charge (pHpzc), kinetics adsorption isotherm, were determined. A comparison made with other by-products derived crops. According to this research, 29.12 ± 0.22% 19.25 0.16% pulp, pH 2.0 units kinetic model, which adjusted biosorption’s process, pseudo-second order Ho McKay, presenting an isotherm Langmuir’s model pHpzc 3.95 units. Lastly, pollutant 86.45%, capacity maximum 24.10 mg·g−1 particle size 180 µm, time contact 105 min at 100 RPM. Finally, we express that (a) can be used sustainable alternative for mentioned and/or industrial wastewater matrices, meet goals 3.9 6.9 Sustainable Development Goals 2030 agenda, (b) novelty is use agricultural waste easy acquisition sorbent, without chemical modification, since it presented high efficiency ions. In turn, challenge implementing green technology on pilot, semi-industrial scale treatment systems.
